Waste management calls for several skills which Senegal has with young people motivated by the citizen culture.

Today, the sector has the technical and financial means to make the will of salubrity a reality. PROMOGED is a structuring project that responds to the need for modernization of waste management infrastructures; this, as much in the packaging, transport as in the treatment of waste. The expertise is at hand, hence the modeling and implementation of an adequate, adapted and efficient waste management system approved by the stakeholders through a participatory and inclusive approach.

PROMOGED is also a change of perception and a new vision of the problem. Waste management is a source of wealth creation and employment with the landfills to be rehabilitated, landscaping, sorting and recovery centers, marketing spaces, etc. In addition, the implementation of PROMOGED includes a large socio-economic support component for the people affected by the project and support for the community.
